Before you start
- Hot engine components and coolant may cause severe burns. Do not touch the generator while it is hot.
Procedure
- Make sure the generator is shut down.
- Disconnect the starter battery.
- Open generator capsule top.
- Inspect for leaks at hoses, hose connections, fuel filter, coolant pump, and raw water pump.
- Check for exhaust leaks; if an issue is found, fix and clean immediately.
- Reinstall capsule top.
