Before you start
- Diesel fuel is flammable; shut off all ignition sources and do not allow smoking, flames, or sparks.
Procedure
- Stop generator. Turn on control panel.
- Press the fuel primer button for 3 minutes.
- Open the fuel bleeder screw at the injection pump while pressing the fuel primer button.
- Check for air in the fuel.
- Close fuel bleeder screw.
- If air is noted, repeat steps 2 and 3 until no air is observed.
- Press the fuel primer for an additional 30 seconds and verify no leaks.
- Turn off the control panel.
