Before you start
- Using the wrong water pump drive belt can lead to engine overheating. Since there is no way to adjust the belt tension, it is critical that the correct replacement belt be used.
Procedure
- Place the belt over both pulleys.
- Pull the pump pulley up to its hub and push the pulley onto the hub.
- Secure the pulley with the 4 bolts and tighten to 39-45 Nm (29-33 ft-lb).
