Before you start
- This component weighs 23 kg [50 lb] or more. To avoid personal injury, use a hoist or get assistance to lift this component.
Procedure
- Remove oil supply and oil drain tubes from turbocharger.
- Remove wastegate actuator, if equipped.
- Remove intake and exhaust pipes from turbocharger.
- Remove CAC piping from discharge elbow.
- Remove four turbocharger mounting nuts.
- Remove turbocharger and discard gasket.
Tools required
- Hoist or assistance for component weighing 23 kg [50 lb] or more
