Before you start
- Used engine oil can be carcinogenic and cause reproductive toxicity. Avoid inhalation, ingestion, and prolonged contact.
- Avoid direct contact of hot oil with your skin.

Procedure
- Operate the engine until water temperature reaches 60°C [140°F]. Shut off the engine.
- Remove the oil drain plug. Drain the oil immediately.
- Clean area around lubricating oil filter head. Remove filter. Clean gasket surface.
- Use oil filter wrench, Part No. 3375049.
