Before you start
- Engine performance may be affected if battery cable(s) is removed during the 30 second waiting period.
- Disconnect battery charger from AC source before disconnecting battery cables.
Procedure
- Move the Run/Off/Auto switch on the control panel to the OFF position.
- Press the Emergency Stop button and wait at least 30 seconds before completing Step 3.
- Turn off or remove AC power from the battery charger.
- Remove the negative (−) battery cable from the generator set starting battery.

- Wait at least 30 seconds after pressing Emergency Stop before disconnecting battery cable(s)
