Procedure
- Place generator on a level surface and allow the muffler to cool.
- Remove the cover screws and the muffler cover.
- Remove the spark arrestor with a screwdriver.
- Remove carbon deposits from the spark arrestor screen with a wire brush.
- Reinstall the spark arrestor and muffler cover.
