Before you start
- Compressed air, pressure washers, and steam cleaners can cause severe eye injury; always wear safety glasses
Procedure
- Look for mechanical damage and listen for unusual noises and vibrations.
- Check the generator set mounting bolts.
- Check the generator set air inlet and outlet openings are not clogged with debris or blocked.
- Clean accumulated dust and dirt from the generator set. Do not clean the generator set while it is running or still hot.
