Before you start
- Priming should only be done by a skilled and experienced diesel technician.
Procedure
- Disconnect the negative (-) lead to the genset starting battery.
- Use clip leads to jumper B+ and ground to the electric fuel pump; run pump five to ten seconds.
- Reconnect the starting battery so the generator set may be cranked.
