Cummins/Onan — Generator Set Assembly Instructions

Installation

Before you start

  • The generator set is heavy. Keep feet and hands clear when lifting.
  • Too little oil can cause severe engine damage.
  • Do not use gasoline or additives containing methanol.

Procedure

  1. Remove the generator set from the box.
  2. If necessary, install the wheel kit.
  3. Add oil to the generator set; keep level above the Add mark.
  4. Add gasoline to the fuel tank.
  5. Install a 12 volt, 14L-A2 battery; connect positive (+) red cable first, then negative (-) green cable.
