Before you start
- A hot muffler can cause severe burns; let the muffler cool before removing the cleanout plug
Procedure
- Remove the top enclosure panel.
- Remove the cleanout plug from the muffler.
- Secure the top enclosure panel before running the generator set.
- Start and load the generator set nearly to full power; run about five minutes.
- Stop generator set, allow muffler to cool, reinstall cleanout plug.
