Before you start
- Electrostatic discharge will damage circuit boards.
Procedure
- Turn off AC power to battery charger.
- Remove negative battery cable from starting battery.
- Wear grounding wrist strap; attach clip to chassis ground.
- Create capture file of genset parameters using InPower before replacing Base board.
- Remove circuit board connectors and board.
- After replacement, write previous settings to new Base board using capture file.
