Cummins/Onan — Breaker Point Replacement and Adjustment

Procedure
- Remove breaker box cover.
- Remove spark plugs for easier rotation.
- Remove mounting screw A and pull points out to disconnect leads.
- Replace condenser with new one.
- Install new points but do not fully tighten screw A.
- Rotate engine until 25° BTC mark aligns, then another 1/4 turn.
- Set point gap using screwdriver in notch; gap .020 in.
- Tighten screw and recheck gap.
- Check ignition timing.
