Before you start
- Do not lubricate with petroleum products like grease and oil.
Procedure
- Close the sea-cock.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Loosen three screws to remove the pump body or impeller cover.
- Remove the impeller and O-ring.
- Inspect impeller for broken vanes; clean debris from heat exchanger.
- Install new impeller, twisting it the way it normally turns.
- Wet the impeller with water, soap, or silicone lubricant; secure O-ring and cover.
- Open the sea-cock, reconnect the battery, and start the set.
