Procedure
- Inspect generator set before first start of the day and after every eight hours of operation.
- Make sure all CO detectors on board are working properly.
- Disconnect all electrical loads and disengage the Power Takeoff (PTO), if equipped.
- Check for swimmers that might be exposed to engine exhaust.
