Before you start
- Do not smoke while servicing batteries.
Procedure
- Remove cover and protective wrapping. Remove plug from exhaust outlet.
- Check oil viscosity tag against ambient temperature.
- Clean and check battery; measure specific gravity and charge until correct.
- Add water if battery water level low. Do not overcharge.
- Connect batteries.
- Start engine.
