Before you start
- Install new crankshaft and new camshaft when either needs replacing.
Procedure
- Be sure mounting key is in place before pressing gear.
- Align gear keyway with key on shaft and press into place.
- Mesh gear teeth so the stamped 'O' marks coincide.
- Reinstall crankshaft retaining washer and snap ring.
