Procedure
- Loosen packing nut before adjusting.
- Turn main adjusting needle out about two full turns (early models only).
- Slowly turn needle in until engine begins to lose speed.
- Very slowly turn needle out until engine runs smoothly at full power and speed.
- Tighten packing nut snug after adjustment.
