Before you start
- Do not bring open flame or burning cigarette near batteries on charge.
Procedure
- Fully charge battery.
- While on charge, siphon off electrolyte above plates in each cell.
- Fill each cell with pure distilled water.
- Recharge one hour at 4 to 6 ampere rate.
- Test each cell with hydrometer; if specific gravity above 1.225, repeat steps 2, 3, and 4.
- Continue until highest fully charged reading is not over 1.225.
