- Do not add oil above the upper mark of the dipstick.

Procedure
- Stop and cool down the engine.
- Check oil level with dipstick between oil filter and fuel lift pump; correct level is at or near the upper mark.
- If low, add fresh oil of the same specifications through the filler cap on the rocker cover or the filling entry at the right side.
- Use a funnel to avoid spilling oil over the engine.

- Difference between upper and lower dipstick marks is about 2 liters.
