Before you start
- Open the filler cap on top of the heat exchanger housing only when the engine is cold.
Procedure
- Verify the level when the engine is cold.
- Open the filler cap on the expansion tank (if fitted) or on top of the heat exchanger housing.
- Make sure the coolant level is about 1 cm below the bottom of the filler pipe.
- If required, top up with fresh cooling liquid.
