Before you start
- Fuel leaked onto hot surfaces can cause fire
Procedure
- Loosen fuel filter air purge plug two full turns.
- Operate priming pump until fuel appears.
- Tighten purge plug.
- Operate priming pump until strong pressure felt.
- Push priming pump plunger inward and tighten by hand.
- Crank engine.
- If engine will not start, allow starter to cool 2 minutes and repeat.
- Run engine at low idle until smooth.
