Before you start
- A failed water pump might cause severe engine overheating problems that could result in cracks in the cylinder head, a piston seizure, or other engine damage.
Procedure
- Visually inspect the water pump for leaks.
- If any leaking is observed, replace the water pump seal or the water pump assembly.
- Refer to the Service Manual for disassembly and assembly procedure.
