Before you start

  • Ensure that the fault protection timer is ENABLED for events that will cause a SHUTDOWN EVENT during Start-Up (LOW OIL PRESS, UNDER VOLTAGE, UNDER FREQ, UNDER SPEED).

Procedure

  1. From main menu highlight PREFERENCES; set CONTRAST, BACKLIGHT, PRESSURE, TEMPERATURE, VOLUME, and LANGUAGE.
  2. Press ESCAPE to return to the main menu and highlight CONFIGURE.
  3. Press DOWN until SETPOINTS is highlighted.
  4. Scroll to AUTOMATIC START/STOP and adjust setpoints to desired values.
  5. Highlight ENG COOL TEMP; select Data Link for ADEM3/ADEM4 or I/O PIN otherwise.
  6. Highlight ENG OIL PRES MONITOR; select I/O PIN or Data Link.
  7. Highlight ENG SPEED MONITOR and input the flywheel teeth number.
  8. Highlight GEN AC MONITOR and adjust setpoints and input values.
  9. Highlight GEN OVER/UNDER FREQ and adjust setpoints and values.
  10. Highlight GEN OVER/UNDER VOLT and adjust setpoints and values.
  11. Highlight SPARE ANALOG INPUT; enable and configure if used.
  12. Highlight EVENT RESPONSE CONFIG and select the event responses and checkboxes.
