Before you start
- Check the coolant level only when the engine is stopped and cold
Procedure
- Remove the filler cap slowly to relieve pressure.
- Maintain the coolant within 13 mm (0.5 inch) from the bottom of the filler pipe.
- Inspect the gaskets of the filler cap; obtain a new cap if damaged.
- Inspect the cooling system for leaks.
