Before you start
- Do not start the engine during the test
- Ensure the engine control is in the OFF position
Procedure
- Ensure both air shutoff gates are latched OPEN and both switches connected.
- With power ON, activate EMERGENCY STOP; both gates should close.
- Latch only the right side gate; power ON; right gate should close.
- Latch only the left side gate; power ON; left gate should close.
- Reset both air shutoffs and operate the engine normally.
