Before you start
- The water separator is not a filter; the engine should never run with the water separator more than half full.

Procedure
- Place a suitable container below the water separator.
- Open the drain (5) and allow the fluid to drain.
- When clean fuel drains, close the drain (5) and tighten by hand only; dispose of the drained fluid correctly.
