Before you start
- Engine damage may occur if the breather assembly is not working properly.
Procedure
- Inspect and clean the diaphragm for the crankcase breather.
- The canister for the crankcase breather is a nonserviceable component.
- Exchange or replace the canister if the lubricating oil becomes contaminated or at overhaul.
