The MTU 16V2000 DS1250 is a 1250 kW (1250 kVA) Diesel standby generator set powered by a MTU 16V2000G36F engine. It is available at 380 V, 400 V and 415 V, 3-phase, 50 Hz and rated 1724 A. It holds about 102 L (26.9 gal) of oil and 70 L (18.5 gal) of coolant, with a maximum ambient rating of 40 °C. Starting uses 4 group-8 batteries rated 2800 CCA at 24 V. The set measures 4830×1990×2200 mm (190.2×78.3×86.6 in), weighs about 7100 kg (15653 lb) and produces 96.3 dBA at 7 m.
