3Checking Generator Drive Plate Torque maintenance
- Disconnect the engine starting battery
- Remove the generator fan guard
- Torque each of the drive plate bolts to the specification (MMG330: 33 ft-lb / 45 Nm)
- Reinstall the generator fan guard and reconnect the battery
Resetting of the Time to Service Reminder maintenance
- With the unit shut down, power up the controller with the Control On/Off toggle switch
- Press Page Select until Engine Protect line is reached and press Enter
- "WrnMaintanance" appears with the current service time hour setting below it
- Press Enter; current run time in hours appears on the display
- Reset the current run time hour setting to 250
- Press Enter to save the run time hour setting
- Move the Control On/I toggle switch to Control Off/O

If no other problems are found, remove the load on the generator and restart the engine. Check the coolant temperature and shut the engine down immediately if it starts to overheat. | |
