⚠ Hold rocker arm jam nut in place as pivot ball stud is turned.

Tools: 10mm allen wrench, feeler gauge, socket wrench

1. Engine should be cool before checking.
2. Remove spark plug wires and position away from plugs.
3. Remove spark plugs.
4. Position piston at Top Dead Center (TDC) of compression stroke.
5. Remove four screws attaching valve cover.
6. Loosen rocker jam nut.
7. Turn pivot ball stud with 10mm allen wrench while checking clearance.
8. Tighten jam nut to 174 in/lbs torque and recheck clearance.

⚠ Gaseous fuels are highly explosive. No leakage permitted.

Tools: plastic T-handle fuel selector

1. Turn off main gas supply.
2. Open roof and remove door.
3. Remove battery if installed.
4. Insert T-handle pin into selector knob hole.
5. Pull out to overcome spring pressure, twist clockwise 90 degrees.
6. Allow selector to return once aligned with LP position.
7. Save tool with Owner's Manual.
8. Install battery, door, close roof; reverse to convert back.

⚠ Gaseous fuels are highly explosive. No leakage permitted.

1. Open roof.
2. For 10kW: loosen clamp, slide back air inlet hose.
3. Slide fuel selector on carburetor out towards back of enclosure.
4. Return inlet hose and tighten clamp securely.
5. For 12-20kW: remove air cleaner cover.
6. Slide selector lever out towards back of enclosure.
7. Return air cleaner cover and tighten two thumb screws.
8. Close roof; reverse to convert back.

⚠ Damage will result if battery connections are made in reverse.

⚠ Do not dispose of battery in fire.

1. Set AUTO/OFF/MANUAL switch to OFF.
2. Turn off utility power to transfer switch.
3. Remove 7.5A fuse from generator control panel.
4. Connect red battery cable to positive (POS or +) post.
5. Connect black battery cable to negative (NEG or -) post.

⚠ Extremely high voltage present - risk of lethal electric shock

⚠ Disable automatic start circuit before working on equipment

⚠ Use proper personal protective equipment when working on live equipment

1. Unpack and inspect transfer switch for damage
2. Mount enclosure to wall using provided fasteners
3. Connect utility and generator power sources to appropriate terminals
4. Connect neutral and ground wires to designated lugs
5. Connect control wires from generator controller
6. Perform functional tests and voltage checks

1. Lift roof and remove door.
2. Turn worm gear clamp screw counterclockwise to loosen.
3. Pull old filter off divider panel hub.
4. Wipe away dust or debris from panel hub.
5. Install new air cleaner onto hub.
6. Turn worm gear clamp screw clockwise to tighten.
7. Replace door and roof.

1. Lift roof and remove door.
2. Turn two screws counterclockwise to loosen.
3. Remove cover and air filter.
4. Wipe away dust or debris from air box.
5. Install new air cleaner into air box.
6. Install cover and turn two screws clockwise to tighten.

1. Lift roof and remove door.
2. Push back latch of yellow air filter access door to swing open.
3. Pull out old air filter and discard.
4. Install new filter, open end first into air box.
5. Swing yellow door shut and snap to close.
6. Replace door and close roof securely.

⚠ DO NOT OVER FILL.

⚠ Never operate engine with oil level below Add mark.

Tools: container

1. Run engine until warm, then set AUTO/OFF/MANUAL switch to OFF.
2. Pull oil drain hose free of retaining clip, remove cap, drain oil.
3. Replace cap and retain hose in clip.
4. Remove old oil filter by turning counterclockwise.
5. Apply clean oil to new filter gasket.
6. Screw new filter on by hand until gasket contacts adapter.
7. Tighten additional 3/4 to one turn.
8. Refill with recommended oil, run one minute, check for leaks.

⚠ Never store battery on concrete or earthen floor.

1. Start engine and let warm up.
2. Close fuel shutoff valve and allow unit to shut down.
3. Switch to OFF position.
4. Set main circuit breaker to OFF.
5. Remove 7.5A fuse and disconnect battery cables.
6. Drain oil completely while warm; refill crankcase with oil.
7. Attach tag indicating oil viscosity and classification.
8. Remove spark plug(s), spray fogging agent, reinstall and tighten.

⚠ DO NOT USE TAP WATER IN THE BATTERY.

1. Verify utility power is off and AUTO/OFF/MANUAL switch is OFF.
2. Check tag for oil viscosity and classification; refill if necessary.
3. Check battery state; fill cells with distilled water and recharge to 100%.
4. Clean and wipe entire generator.
5. Ensure 7.5A fuse is removed; reconnect battery observing polarity.
6. Open fuel shutoff valve.
7. Insert 7.5A fuse and start unit in MANUAL; allow warm up.
8. Stop unit, turn on utility power, set switch to AUTO.

⚠ Do not blast spark plug(s) to clean.

Tools: wire feeler gauge, wire brush

1. Clean area around base of spark plug(s).
2. Remove spark plug(s) and check condition.
3. Replace if worn or reuse questionable.
4. Clean by scraping or washing with wire brush and solvent.
5. Check gap with wire feeler gauge.
6. Adjust gap by bending ground electrode.
