Before you start

  • Avoid excessive contraction, elongation, offset, bending or twisting.

Procedure

  1. Fit the pipes naturally to avoid initial stress such as elongation, offset or twisting.
  2. Do not contract the pipe for installation; cut surplus length if too long.
  3. Do not elongate the pipe forcibly; cut opponent piping to accurate length.
  4. Do not offset or bend the pipe.
  5. Do not twist the pipe.
  6. Install the pipe at a right angle to the direction of vibration.
  7. Install the pipe at a place with small pressure changes.
  8. Install the anchor as near as possible to the vibrating body.
  9. Do not use the pipe to support heavy things; install a hanger to support external forces.
  10. Cover flexible tubes for oil and flammable liquid with lagging material.
