Before you start
- Shaft end nut has left-hand thread
Procedure
- Mark match marks on housings.
- Disconnect boost hose.
- Remove blower wheel chamber.
- Remove shaft end nut (left-hand thread) and blower wheel.
- Remove turbine housing.
- Remove turbine shaft.
- Remove seal plate.
- Remove thrust bearing and thrust bush.
- Remove floating metal.
- Remove seal rings.
