Yanmar 6LY2-STE — Fresh water pump inspection

Procedure

  1. Rotate impeller smoothly; replace pump if not smooth or abnormal noise.
  2. Check impeller blade for damage or corrosion.
  3. Clean cooling water and bypass holes.
  4. Measure clearance between impeller and body: 0.3~1.1 mm.
  5. Measure clearance between impeller and plate.
