Before you start

  • If the engine fails to start, release the switch, wait a few seconds, then try again. Do not crank the engine more than 5 seconds on any one attempt.

Procedure

  1. Turn the economy control switch to OFF.
  2. Select the voltage select switch position according to the electric device.
  3. Turn the fuel cock knob to ON.
  4. Turn the engine switch to ON.
  5. Turn the engine switch to START and release immediately after the engine starts.
