Yamaha EF3000iSE — Starting the Engine (Electric Starting)

Operation

For the Yamaha EF3000iSE, from the Yamaha owner's manual.

Before you start

  • If engine fails to start, release switch, wait a few seconds, then try again.

Procedure

  1. Turn fuel cock knob to ON.
  2. Pull choke knob fully out.
  3. Turn engine switch to START.
  4. Take hand off switch immediately after engine starts.
  5. Warm up until engine does not stop when choke is returned.
  6. Push choke knob back to original position.

  • Do not crank engine more than 10 seconds on any one attempt.
