Before you start
- Engine and muffler very hot after running
Procedure
- Remove the screws, pull outward on rear cover.
- Loosen the bolt and remove the muffler cap, screen and spark arrester.
- Remove carbon deposits using a wire brush.
- Check the muffler screen and spark arrester; replace if damaged.
- Install the spark arrester, aligning lump to hole in muffler pipe.
- Install the muffler screen and muffler cap, tighten the bolt.
- Install the rear cover and tighten the screws.
