Before you start
- Engine and muffler will be very hot after running.
Procedure
- Remove screws, pull out rear cover.
- Loosen bolt, remove muffler cap, muffler screen, spark arrester.
- Remove carbon deposits using a wire brush.
- Check muffler screen and spark arrester; replace if damaged.
- Install spark arrester (align lump to hole in muffler pipe).
- Install muffler screen and muffler cap, tighten bolt.
- Install rear cover and tighten screws.
