Yamaha EF1000iS / EF2400iSHC — Starting the engine
Operation
For the Yamaha EF1000iS / EF2400iSHC, from the Yamaha owner's manual.
Before you start
- Never operate the engine in a closed area
Procedure
- Turn the fuel cock lever to ON
- Pull the choke lever fully out
- Turn the engine switch to ON
- Pull slowly on the recoil starter until engaged, then pull briskly
- Warm up the engine until it does not stop when choke lever returned
- Push choke lever back to original position
