Before you start

  • DO NOT clean float in Bendix Metalclene or Econoclene.
  • DO NOT use a drill or wire to clean a jet as it will damage the calibrated orifice and affect the flow of fuel.

Procedure

  1. 1. Clean all metal parts in Bendix Metalclene or Econoclene and rinse well in solvent.
  2. 2. Inspect all parts for wear or damage, discard all gaskets and any imperfect parts and replace with the specified new parts.
  3. 3. Clean all channels and parts with compressed air.
