Before you start
- Do not seat needle too firmly
Procedure
- Set main adjusting needle 1-1/2 to 1-7/8 turns open
- Start engine with choker closed
- Open choker fully after warm-up
- Turn main adjusting needle for smoothest full-load operation
- Set idle adjusting needle about 1/2 to 3/4 turns open
- Adjust throttle stop screw for idle speed

- Main needle 1-1/2 to 1-7/8 turns
- Idle needle 1/2 to 3/4 turns
