Procedure
- Warm engine, stop, remove spark plug wire
- Attach neoprene hose to oil drain valve and drain into approved container
- Remove oil filter and dispose of properly
- Clean filter mounting base, coat new filter seal with clean oil
- Install oil filter by hand until gasket contacts adapter, then tighten 1/2 to 3/4 turn
- Replace oil drain bolt with sealing washer in place
- Remove filler cap and refill with new oil
- Replace filter plug
- Start and warm up engine
- Recheck oil level and refill as necessary
