Before you start
- Never push switch to START while engine is running
Procedure
- Verify battery installed and cables attached
- Set circuit breakers properly
- Move fuel shutoff valve to ON
- Move choke lever to ON
- Push and hold engine control switch to START until engine starts, then release
- As engine stabilizes, gradually move choke to OFF
