Before you start
- Avoid overfilling
Procedure
- Operate/maintain generator on flat surface
- Stop engine if running
- Let engine cool several minutes
- Clean around oil fill plug/dipstick
- Remove and wipe dipstick clean
- Select proper engine oil
- Slowly add oil using supplied funnel and tube, checking level frequently
- Continue until oil is at correct level
