Procedure

1. Stop inverter and let cool.
2. Move inverter to flat, level surface.
3. Remove four screws holding muffler cover in place.
4. Loosen clamp holding spark arrestor onto muffler.
5. Slide spark arrestor band clamp off spark arrestor screen.
6. Pull spark arrestor screen off muffler exhaust pipe.
7. Remove dirt/debris with wire brush; replace if worn (rips, tears, large openings).
8. Reinstall spark arrestor screen and band clamp.
