- The cartridge contains fuel; take care not to spill it during disassembly.

Procedure
- Shut the fuel supply off.
- Loosen the fuel filter turning counterclockwise with a filter wrench.
- Wipe clean the sealing face on the housing bracket.
- Lightly oil the sealing o-ring on the new filter.
- Turn filter clockwise until the o-ring contacts the sealing surface, then turn 2/3 further.
- Turn on the fuel and start the engine; prime the system if it fails to start.
