For the Westerbeke 90A FOUR, from the Westerbeke operator's manual.
Procedure
- Remove the oil-soaked cloths from the intake manifold and the thru-hull exhaust port.
- Remove the raw water pump cover and gasket and discard the old gasket.
- Install the raw water pump impeller and install the raw water pump cover with a new cover gasket.
- Reinstall the batteries removed during lay-up and reconnect the battery cables; check that batteries are fully charged.
- Check the condition of the zinc anode in the raw water circuit and clean or replace as needed.
- Start the engine in accordance with procedures described in the PREPARATIONS FOR STARTING section.
