Before you start

  • When carburetor adjustment is completed, the cutting attachment should not move at idle, otherwise serious personal injury may result

Procedure

  1. Check idle speed and reset if necessary.
  2. If a tachometer is available, set idle speed screw to the specifications found on Specifications page.
  3. Turn idle screw clockwise to increase idle speed.
  4. Turn idle screw counterclockwise to decrease idle speed.

  • Tachometer (optional)
