Waukesha TH570 — Distributor Timing

Before you start
- Distributor must be retimed whenever points are removed or reset.
Procedure
- Turn engine until cylinder No. 1 is at TDC compression.
- Align crankshaft pulley notch with timing pin.
- Insert distributor with cap clamps and primary lead convenient.
- Remove distributor cap.
- Place thin paper between breaker points.
- Turn distributor body counterclockwise until paper releases.
- Lock in position.
- Replace cap and connect wires per diagram.
