Before you start
- Nut must always be changed. Use tool 884724.
Procedure
- Screw new nut on and turn chamfer inwards.
- Use tool 884724 and start with low torque.
- Fix gear wheel or shaft in vise with soft jaw pads.
- Wind string round bearing housing.
- Pull with spring balance to test pre-load.
